Cinque Terre: Heritage ...

" rocky landscape and austere, asylum for fishermen and farmers living in a shabby shabby on a strip in certain stretches of beach that is increasingly thinning, naked and solemn setting of one of the most primitive of Italy.

Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, nests of hawks and seagulls, Manarola and Riomaggiore are, proceeding from west to east, the names of a few countries or parts of countries which are so entrenched in the rocks and the sea.
"

( and Eugenio Montale," Out of Home ")

Spring is a wonderful time to visit our country ... the sun and cool breeze make it possible to organize tours of the beautiful, of course, before you leave is better check the weather! The Cinque Terre
me At sunset ... have enchanted sea and sky merge into one, the horizon disappears and everything seems to be indefinite and infinite.
stand by and watch the sunset on one of the many terraces of the Cinque Terre is an idyllic landscape.
It is easy to visit these places. Five villages
: Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, Riomaggiore and , overlooking the sea arose in an area inaccessible in a landscape of extraordinary beauty. Marine Protected Area and a National Park that protect the absolute uniqueness.
The car must leave it parked in one of these five villages (I recommend to stay in Riomaggiore ), after which you can choose whether to have a good walk or take a boat or train that connect all the countries.
The path to take is the Blue Trail , this is a route that already exists in the Middle Ages (except the segment that coincides with the Way of Love, dating from the twentieth century), for centuries the only means of communication between the inhabitants of the coast . From
Riomaggiore to Manarola a trail was built, in fact the so-called " Way of Love," from which you can admire an unforgettable panorama. From
Corniglia to Manarola the trail is a bit 'more tortuous and the end to go up to Corniglia there are 382 steps well!! But I assure you that the nature that surrounds you is worth all the effort.
Corniglia is the only village located on a rocky promontory landlocked, so the only alternative is to train over the trail. In fact, if you are not accustomed to taking great walk I suggest you take the train to get to Vernazza , because the path that connects these two countries is like a mule, they are also less than 4 km of walking, climbing steep! The village of Vernazza
, in my opinion, is the most characteristic and most beautiful.
Hence, If you arrived at Vernazza walk, you should take one of two other vehicles, because you will have your feet a little 'sore.
Monterosso al Mare village is the largest of the five, maybe a little 'too touristy.
To go back, take the boat, as you can see all five villages from the sea and the view is magical.
Do not forget to stop at the end of the trip to buy a very good bottle of wine of the Cinque Terre!
